There is an assumption that Trump would do poorer if election was held today. I’m not sure that is true.

It finally dawned on me why so many Republican house members are quitting. Are they afraid that the names will become known of those whose sexual assault accusers were paid off with secret, public funds?

Thought these guys were broke as heck, with no real money to mount a fight, until I read this:
“The online fundraising platform ActBlue this week surged past the $1 billion mark in contributions to Democratic candidates and causes in this election cycle.”

https://politicalwire.com/2018/08/02/liberal-website-raises-1-billion-for-democrats-this-cycle/

Contribute and vote.

That is a Yuge war chest.

The problem, as I see it, is we have many Republican or Republican-leaning voters who are, to whatever degree, complacent. And the source of that defect is three-fold:

1.) A Congress full of RINOs
2.) A Primary Slate of made up mostly of RINO’s
3.) The idiocy of those who buy into the “Q-Annon” Bullsh*t

Points (1) and (2) are too typical and suck; but, nevertheless, it is vital to the Trump agenda that the GOP keeps the House. So, hold your friggin nose again and vote for the RINO bastard, because he or she may at least be “leveraged” to pass Trump’s agenda. Dems will NEVER do so.

Point (3) is much more serious in its general effect. We should all be raising the alarm that this asinine passivity, being fomented by the Q-Annon crowd, is terminally fatal to restoring this Republic. The gullible fools - including far too many here on FR - who, like mindless sheep, follow the pied piper that is Q-Annon, will too late discover that they have been the target of a massive psi-ops campaign. They are being led into a dark cave, the end of which is a bottomless pit into socialist hell.

You Tube has several videos of “experts” showing how it was impossible for President Trump could win. I think this is more of the same.

The RINOs are hoping for a blue wave so they don’t have to do anything but sit on their a$$ and collect American taxpayer’s hard earned money

Other than President Trump, the only people I see fighting to keep Republican control of the House are Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Does NBC News give any advice on how the Republicans can have icing on their cake?

Democrat Larry Sabato says you have to add 10 points to President Trump’s approval rating in order to account for the bias of the pollsters.

How queer that the “news” seems concerned in running the numbers only and always for one party.

Never what path gets the GOP to take over or keep the seats.

The party in power traditionally loses seats in the midterms. Everyone is using that as their barometer. Problem is Trump isn’t any other President.

GOP needs to keep the seats have now despite incumbent retirements, or HRC won the district , redrawn district lines, etc.

Oh, Babs Comstock (RINO-VA-10) is in serious trouble, but that’s because she utterly ignores 90% of her constituents for her upper-crust Great Falls RINO compadres. .

We’d vote for Ocasio-Cortez, if we had to, to rid her from office . .

"50% approval is below average? Which is 5 pts better than bammy at this point."

Just the other day some liberal rag was saying that Trump wouldn't be able to get re-elected without having a 50% approval rating. So he gets 50%, and they come up with another excuse to complain about.

Kind of reminds me of when I became a correction officer. They told us that once you have five years in, you're considered to be a seasoned officer. Then when I'd been there five years, and received my first hash mark, they told us it was actually 10 years until you were considered a competent officer.
