Yes, quite sad on your part. I assume you also equate the lack of political freedom in Singapore (hint, there is none) with the lack of freedom Cuba - really no difference between the two countries, since neither has reached your demanded level of ‘freedom’.

Singapore has a democratically elected government with opposition parties. Not the “freest” place on Earth by a long shot. Frankly it’s a paranoid little city-state run by control freaks. But it is not Cuba, which has no opposition party of political dissent allowed period, nor Chile under Pinochet which also did not.
So no, I’m not going to champion Singapore anymore than those other two places. I’ll leave that for the phonies around here that apparently like those types of systems....because people there are economically well-off or whatever bullshot rationale they come up with.
