No I think it was Cruz not endorsing him even after the President gave him a prime speaking spot at the convention. What an ass. Anyway, he needs to be in the Senate.

That and the whole never-Trumper scheming up to the convention to somehow deny it to Trump. I won’t flame him and I certainly prefer him to a Democrat, but I’ll never trust him either.

“U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has asked President Donald Trump to come to Texas to campaign for him.”
Of all the nerve of this jagoff after blaming Trump for the Emanuel/Antifa riot in Chicago which caused him to cancel.

Ted, like a ton of us, didn’t trust Trump. Trump and his followers have been right and proven us wrong. Accept our humble apology and move on. please.
I am overwhelmed that Donald J. Trump proved me wrong. I am happy. Can’t you be?

Anyway, he needs to be in the Senate.I voted for Cruz in the Texas Presidential primary that year. However, I swore I'd never vote for him again after the RNC stunt. Fortunately, he came around, and so did I. I will definitely be voting for Cruz in November. But he would not need the President to come to Texas if he hadn't pulled the RNC stunt in the first place. He damaged his own brand.
