There is NOTHING to celebrate here... this race should have never been close. GOP didn’t pull anything close to their last midterm numbers not even 70% of their last midterm turnout numbers and DEMS got around 90% of their presidential year turnout numbers!
The GOPe better wake up and realize simply running the same messaging and ads you have for 20 years is NOT going to win! You need those non traditional And crossover MAGA and cross over voters to win, when you have a Dem base that is as motivated as the Dems base is right now! Particularly in the upper Midwest!
You are not going to hold the house this fall with a campaign that simply panders to get the reliable base to turn out. If you do not talk to and give a reason for those non traditional voters to care and show up, you will lose a lot of pink and purple districts and the house!

I’m sure 90% of them operate under the belief that once President Trump is no longer in office, some empty, stuffed suit globalist like Jeb! is going to step in and their personal wealth-enrichment program called the Republican party will continue to operate as if Trump never existed, and we’ll ALL go voting for the empty, stuffed suit because, after all, the RAT candidate is worse, isn’t he / she / it?
News at 11:00. It’s NEVER going to happen, GOP. Many of us hate you people as much as we hate the Democrats - maybe even more, because at least they’re worthy of respect for doing everything they can to win and not eating their own.
I am a little surprised that this district is heavily Republican, given how gerrymandered it is. Typically that favors Dems.
