I love it when they talk of “concentrations of CO2”. Do they even know what percentage of the atmosphere consists of CO2? The answer is 3 to 4 one hundredths of one percent. Seem like a lot to you? And of that, how much is due to human activity? Well, about 3% of that 3 to 4 one hundredths of one percent.
How much could be abated with this proposed process, maybe 5 to 10% of that. Is this discussion even slightly necessary? I would give it less that one one hundredth of one percent importance.
OK, lets explore the issue further.
A Freeper posted last week a very telling argument. CO2 is heavier than air and settles out. That is, it is not in the upper atmosphere in the same concentrations and thus is not reflective to trap earth radiation similar to the glass in a green house.
So, we must know the concentration at various altitudes to assess the abitlty ot retain heat.
that 0.04% is All CO2 both man caused and nature caused- man’s contribution of CO2 amounts to just 3.4% of that .04% which = 0.00136%
Your kill me Larry!
I brew small batches of beer, and I love watching it when the fermentation builds up a real head of steam. It's like a bubbling, boiling witch's cauldron, and it can go for days, depending on the starting gravity.
As well, atmospheric physicist James A. Peden studied CO2 and it’s capabilities of absorbing heat and found:
Man-made CO2 doesnt appear physically capable of absorbing much more than two-thousandths of the radiated heat passing upward through the atmosphere, Peden writes.
So, not only is man’s contribution of COP2 to the atmosphere extremely small, the small amount of CO2 isn’t even capable of absorbing hardly any of the heat being radiated upwards-
The claim that ‘Man is almost entirely responsible for climate change’ is a colossal lie- we’re not even responsible for a tiny fraction of the increase in heat- Even if we quadrupled our output of CO2 it still would be such a small amount of CO2 in atmosphere that it couldn’t possibly change temperatures on iota- There is no thick blanket of CO2 created by man preventing heat from escaping the earth- that is a lie
[[So, we must know the concentration at various altitudes to assess the abitlty ot retain heat.]]
We just need to know the total amount of atmospheric CO2 due to man- which we do- and must know the ability of said CO2 to absorb radiated heat- which we do- there is nowhere near enough CO2 to trap enough heat to warm the earth- not even close- see my post above
Only if your stupid enough to by into the Global Warming scam.
As for me, I’ll stick to real science without the left-wing, Marxist agenda.
Aliens discover that all life on Earth ended because of too much magnesite. Listed in their school books under “Stupid Humans”.
It is also dangerous. If it is successful on a large scale it presages man made famine. The increase of CO2 in the atmosphere has been very good for plant life and bountiful food crops which condition has gone a long way along with human crop engineering toward eliminating the famines that were until only recently endemic to some parts of the earth and a little less recently than that were recurrent phenomena most everywhere.Trying to counter errors believed to be perceived in nature is apt to induce worse errors and we will not know how those new errors affect human life until they are not reversible.
Are they counting on vat grown food to feed thosep arts of the world that no longer have enough food because of the diminution of CO2?
Plant Lives Matter!!
They do!
DUMBEST BS I have ever read, more CO2 = GOOD, Less CO2 = BAD
Not that they could do anything that would make any difference other than “Lots of $ changing hands” because algore said it would “Save the Planet”
Basically Stupidity on Steroids from any angle that you look at it
Die, plants, die!
