The NFL began to lose me a few years back with the pink shoes.

Yes, I realize it was to create “awareness” of a horrible disease.

But, let’s get real. Do they really think there’s a lack of “awareness” out there when it comes to cancer?

actually i agree with you. Pink/cancer, blue/autism, i forgot what green was for.... but everybody in the US is aware of these diseases, and playing around with ribbons ect is not going to make them find a cure any faster.

It’s a political thing. Heart disease is the number one killer of women. Lung cancer kills more women than breast cancer.

Males are more likely to die than females for every year of life. Why isn’t there awareness of that?
