I’m currently reading through an 8-volume biography of Winston Churchill. In 1917, when he was Minister of Munitions, he wrote memos on the importance of a strong British steel industry to the British effort in fighting World War I.
Same thing applies to the USA in 2018!
I totally agree. We should never be dependent on another country for essentials.
