What is sickening is that in 2/3 of the states that Republicans control either the legislature or the governorship, that publicly funded schools can abridge the Bill of Rights. Republicans ARE cowards so they go along with this.

I have been amazed at the power the "Higher Education" lobby has in state legislatures. It is huge. Not at all clear why. Perhaps because the legislature has been taught to trust these "experts" on all legislative decisions.
The "Higher Education" lobby has amazing power.
