According to various mainstream media figures this week, Special Counsel Robert Mueller was all but certain to drop a bombshell Friday that would shake Washington, D.C., to its core. It didn’t happen. NBC’s Meet the Press host Chuck Todd on Thursday kicked off the Mueller “bombshell” frenzy, warning viewers that Friday could go down in history as a turning point in the Russia investigation. “Here’s what I’ve learned about Bob Mueller,” Todd began. “Not a single person that has known him, been with him, worked with him, wouldn’t say that he would have ended this investigation if there was no collusion. He would have already ended this investigation.”
“We can’t tell that, though, until he tells us,” GOP ad-maker Brad Todd replied.
Daniella Gibbs Léger, senior vice president for communications and strategy of the Center for American Progress, surmised Mueller was unlikely to drop a bombshell until after the midterm elections. A major announcement prior to November would spark accusations of political interference for the special counsel, Léger predicted.
“I think he knows, more than anything, he keeps quiet between Labor Day and Election Day,” the NBC host hinted.
“I’m not missing work tomorrow,” added Todd. “I wouldn’t miss work tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last business day of the pre-Labor Day to Election Day window.”

The entire Mueller investigation is a major dud. Nothing but partisan trash, and blatant corruption.

What an ass Chuck Todd is. No one drops a “bombshell” on a Friday before a national-holiday long weekend. That’s how you bury stories, not promote them.

The Patton indictment - failing to register as a foreign agent while lobbying for Ukrainian interests - is one of those process crimes that the public has little interest in. Moreover, it had nothing to do with the Trump campaign, as he was lobbying various members of Congress, probably of both parties. It’s not even clear why he should have to register as a foreign agent, since his lobbying for Ukrainian interests was open and transparent, and any reasonable person could deduce who was paying him. If you are lobbying for Ukrainian interests, you’re probably being paid by Ukrainians.
Chuck Todd’s “Not a single person..” quote was confusing from the beginning, full of double negatives.

There WAS a major bombshell in the investigation, lol! That Mueller’s lead attorney was in cahoots wth Bruce Ohr. Haha. Careful whatcha wish for, Dummies. And here’s another little piece of advice: DON’T GET YOUR HOPES UP.

The key to understanding Mueller is that he works for the Clintons. All of the attacks on President Trump's are orchestrated by the Clintons. Mueller, Comey, McCabe, Strozk are all Deep State capos answerable to the Clintons.

There was never even a hint of a “bombshell.” Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd just made it up out of thin air and told the media not to take the day off yesterday because ... well, because a lot of people told him Mueller would have quit months ago if there was nothing to investigate.
the lying leftist fake stream enemedia was out of more specific fake news, so they had to come up with the generic “bombshell coming” fake news to fill an empty anti-Trump slot ...
Honestly I think everyone here is missing the point.
Todd was spouting the line that Mueller should NOT release a report during the active campaign season, which starts Labor Day (Monday).
So the idea was, Mueller had to release it BEFORE Labor Day, to be fair.
Otherwise, Conservatives and Trump supporters would have an argument the Mueller is all about POLITICS, not justice.
To avoid that charge and label, Mueller has to wait until the election is over.
If Mueller tries anything before that, Trump campaigns to his supporters and says, “See, I told you. Witch hunt. This is just another October Surprise “Gotcha”. They held on to this just to give the democrats an edge. It’s an illegal campaign contribution!!! Same old tired politics. You must all vote GOP if you want me to keep at making America Great Again, otherwise they WILL impeach me!” It could create a massive RED wave. The democrats FEAR that. Well, the smart ones do.
Now, you and I know that the left, including Mueller, has not one once of ethics in their bloodstream.
However, impeachment is a POLITICAL process. To bring up any charges DURING the campaign reeks of politics, which supposedly the smarter ones in the Left want to avoid. Maybe.
BUT, to bring it up between Monday and November 3rd is really electioneering, and Pres Trump (and us) can have a field day presenting it as so. HARD for the media to prove otherwise.
The smart money is now Mueller has NOTHING.
If Trump can hold the House, Mueller, Rosenstein, and probably Sessions get fired.
Everything now comes down to the Election.
