That’s a moot point.....she is not eligible.

Of course she's not eligible. I posted as much as far back as July 2017:


All references from four or more years ago say that her mother emigrated to the United States in 1960 to attend Berkeley. In 2017, Harris started telling stories that her mother arrived in 1959. That could be important.

Harris was born in 1964, and her mother arrived in 1960. INS regulations say that one has to be a permanent resident (green card holder) for five years before being eligible for naturalization, or three years if married to a citizen during that time. An internet search shows that Donald J Harris and Shyamala Gopalan were married on July 5, 1963. This means that it is unlikely that Harris' mother was naturalized when Harris was born.


All I'm saying is that it helps the argument to get basic facts correct.
