Stunning news out of the Massachusetts primary this evening, where 10-term incumbent House member Michael Capuano has been defeated for re-election by Boston City Council member Ayanna Pressley. CBS News notes the obvious comparison to Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez:
Boston City Council member Ayanna Pressley has unseated 10-term incumbent Rep. Michael Capuano, in a surprise upset in the Massachusetts Democratic primary Tuesday.
Pressley, the first African-American woman elected to the Boston City Council in 2009 was considered by many to be an outsider candidate, drawing comparisons to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the young democratic socialist who shocked the Democratic establishment by defeating New York Rep. Joe Crowley in his primary in June. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Tuesday night, “Congratulations to my sister in service, @AyannaPressley, on continuing her historic path into Congress tonight. Let’s push together to make Medicare for All, tuition free college, & living wages a reality in America – all without corporate PAC money.”
CBS notes that Capuano has been “a longtime supporter of progressive policies such as Medicare for All,” but I guess that wasn’t enough for the increasingly “progressive” grassroots of the Democratic Party. Indeed, CBS notes that “both Pressley and Capuano admit there’s likely no difference between them in terms of the way they’ll vote in Congress.”
So in other words, the key difference is ethnicity. Capuano is a white dude. With an Italian name at that. No good for today’s Democrats.

The “Justice Democrat” slate has included quite a number of muslims—our very worst enemies!!!! Fortunately, most of these muslims have gone down to defeat in the primaries. But unfortunately, some did not, and are shoo-ins to get into Congress, like the non-muslim Ocasio!
The whole platform of the “Justice Democrats” is anti-capitalist! No one should vote for a “Justice Democrat”!!!!
Then there is Elizabeth Warren. She cannot be a “Justice Democrat”, because that would preclude her from taking all that Hollywood money that fuels her campaigns. However, her platform and ideology is “Justice Democrat” all the way!!!!

Capuano hung himself, screaming open boarders, giving up Somerville to santuary status - his new constiuancy took over and voted themselves in. The dope.
The Republican party is the white party and the Democrat party is the non-white party. Capuano was in the wrong party.
The current DemocRat party is going away. I would not be surprised to see them dump the name.
Think back 40 years and name the heroes of the ‘Rat party. Jefferson, Woodrow Wilson, LBJ, Robert Byrd. Under today’s political correctness standards, none of these people are acceptable. And of course, it goes without saying that they were the party of slavery and segregation. When a party has to deny it’s history, it is running on fumes. The current aging ‘Rat establishment may be their last gasp.
Expect to see an end the the DemocRat party And a new DemocRat-Socialist party to arise.
His problem is likely demographics. In his district the blacks moved in and the good people moved out leaving a residual majority that is essentially racist.
Like here in California one day the leftist white Democrat will reap the day they handed over their majority “white liberal” to a new majority the “non white socialists”.

I think this is a sign of panic among Democrat voters.
People really need to stop using the term “democratic” socialist. There is nothing democratic about socialism. The correct term is “democrat” socialist, as in democrat party, as in anti-American whack job.
