To: US Navy Vet

it was a beautiful day, I was out walking my dogs. I came home and my husband had called to say “ Don’t worry, I’m not at the Pentagon today” which i found odd.
I did not turn on the tv for awhile, but when i did, it all clicked. Thank God he was safe, and had called me! Our phones lines were down all day.

You were fortunate, thank God.

As I‘m listening , a lot of people are no longer with us.

At a medical practice in Kensington, Connecticut Ave, Md. on 9/11. Heard the news on the waiting room TV -so my colleagues and I went to the windows (3rd floor). We could see the smoke at the Pentagon. Shock and fear all day.

RIP to all the patriots who died on that horrific day.
