This is to show that he’s not beating up on a woman who has gone through a traumatic experience. This is to counter the developing liberal narrative, that she can’t testify without an FBI investigation and how she will be intimidated in a Senate hearing.
Senator G, you need to stop. Subpoena this broad and when she does not show, put her in contempt of congress. Then make an official proclamation that denies the charges and proceed with a vote for confirmation.

I don’t care what they do as long as the vote soon. It sounds like the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee are back on the Reservation. Collins seems to be ready to vote for Kavanaugh and is upset with the Democrat hysterics. Murkowski has been very quiet as far as I know.
If the Republicans have the votes, then need to strike as soon as the Senate rules permit.

It appears that Sen. Grassley is too old and slow for this job. Certainly the people of Iowa can find someone who is more adept at this job than this man from another century of politics.
There’s a method to his madness. Looks to me like he thinks he has her pegged and she won’t testify no matter how nice he offers to be. Then, when she doesn’t accept any of his invitations, he drops the hammer, calls the vote, and passes the nomination, without any of the Republican senators being made to look like evil old sexist white men and the DemonShits being exposed as the evil obstructionists and vile character assassins they are.

CNN headline for this article just changed. It now reads
“Grassley writes Kavanaugh accuser to explain why Senate, not the FBI, should investigate her claims” with no reference to being comfortable, although the body of the article still refers to Grassley wanting be make her comfortable.
I prefer doing everything to make her as UNCOMFORTABLE as possible.
Have her testify from an Iron Maiden....shouldn't take long to get the truth....but at least let her have a My Pillow to sit on as a small concession to her purported gender.

Nine months ago it was Roy Moore. The Dems won. No mention of the Moore debacle in any news coverage. This is one sided justice designed to destroy us as an opposition to Democrats,
