Yes, she might lie about anyone paying her, but suppose, we can find out that she’s been paid, and she has lied under oath about that??
Actually, are congressional hearings considered as a court of law, as far as being under oath and all that? We know a Senate hearing room is not a courtroom.
I suspect she trumped this story up to excuse her whatever behavior that caused her husband to take it to a marriage counselor. Notice, she makes it clear she was wearing a one piece swim suit - who makes that distinction? She claims the boy/s were too drunk to get to any private parts in his fumbling. She tried to call out to save her virginity but was prevented so it wasn’t her fault no one came to her rescue. The door was locked so she had to ratchet it up to almost being killed. Never mind that in the end, she was able to unlock the door as one normally would from the inside and escape with no visible marks to soil her reputation.
If her husband isn’t totally pink hat whipped and he has his own personal wealth, he’ll be filing for divorce by the new year.
Maybe she was trying to draw out another women who could relate and then join her in this scheme.
I wonder what the answer would be if she had asked, “did I ever mention that I sexually assaulted a guy?”
Regarding planting false memories, I wrote my law school comment on that. I actually received letters of thanks from fathers who had been falsely accused of abuse by their daughters.

Does it mean that she doesn’t remember if she told someone at the time? And if she doesn’t remember if she told someone, and doesn’t remember the date, the place, and other pertinent details like how she got there, how do you take her seriously?
