Whalen did the right thing to cast doubt on the ridiculous charges thrown at Kavanaugh. No need to apologize. The only person who benefited from Whalen's completely ridiculous bit of fiction was Blasey-Ford.
Our side was running just fine with the "she's a liar and made the whole thing up!" angle and then this dips**t Whalen shows up with a name, a face, and a home address.
