Kavanaugh to Give Senate Calendars From 1982 to Back Up Denial
The New York Times ^ | September 23, 2018 | Pete Baker

WASHINGTON — Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.

The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.

The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

Its easy to prove if those notebooks came from the 1980s they made certain ones back then that you don’t see now..Kavanaugh is BRILLIANT!

I would agree with that statement; he’d need more to prove he was elsewhere. Maybe an international plane ticket or hotel receipt.

However, if I were a juror I would give such an exhibit great weight. It’s just further corroboration to destroy that lady’s so-weak-as-to-be-nonexistent case.

Is it true Ms. Ford has requested not to testify under oath?

It's a gamble.

Either wait until the hearing, where 10 Democrat Senators will have free rein to pontificate and slander, or put this out now in the hopes of scaring Ford into backing down and canceling.

Either way, the calendars defend him. The question is whether Feinstein's camp pushes Ford into appearing anyway, just so the Democrat Senators can get their camera time.

I did from post college. Lost some calendars due to flooding at home or office. They don’t take much space. A decade of calendars is still very thin

Meticulous, certainly. But I think it says he's a serious man, not given to flights of fancy, a man who decided early in his life that he was going places and he would have a good moral compass and lead a clean life.

Of course, I'm probably just reading too much into it. It could be his Mom kept everything he ever made until he left for college and she just couldn't bear to toss anything out. She still has his baby locks from his first haircut.

Me? I destroyed all the evidence as soon as I could.

Even if the calendars are fake, they could still be accurate. Just ask Dan Ratherbiased...

I’ve got all my 1040s. I mean all of them, back to high school when Dad filled them out for me. It’s a fun reminder of where I’ve been.

Unless Mrs. POF dumped them all in one of her fits of downsizing.

Organized families who pass on the “vice” to their kids.
Some grow up to become Supreme Court Justices. ;)

Since K. can’t account for every minute of every day, then he’s guilty.

This is the new standard for men.

Men should where a body camera and place notarized copies of their every minute into safe deposit vaults so they can prove they’re innocent.

As a matter of fact, a nurse, just last week, mentioned to me that she had kept all her marked up calendars starting from hight school to current. She is about thirty-five.

Who keeps calendars, much less from 1982 while in HS?

Did his parents buy him a computer for his bedroom?
