The government can’t make you safe from nature but can sure protect you from the perils of an unlicensed doggy day care.

Asheville and Raleigh would seem to be the most likely places for this kind of crap, but Wayne County is Eastern part of the State around Goldsboro.

A true lover of the state will believe the primary function of the state is to create monopolies and then protect them. Think of all the licensing schemes they come up with.

Supposedly cannot give tylenol or ibuprofen to cats. Not even in a pinch.

Meanwhile in DC politicians continue to rape the masses at will.
The local enforcer here got word of this and acted on it immediately but in DC there is a mountain of evidence on Clinton and gang but someday they might hold a hearing on it.

The US Forest Service sells permits to pick certain mushrooms in the Oregon Dunes National Recrestion Area. They’re valuable ‘shrooms, so people are out looking. Also, there are magic mushrooms growing. State police had a command center set up, and drone operators out patrolling the woods. A friend’s daughter said a friend of hers was out picking mushrooms and a State cop wearing a ghillie suit dropped down out of a tree and landed beside her.

1. Did not find a valid NC Veterinary License for Wayne County Animal Services

2. Did not find a valid NC Veterinary License for the listed staff of the Wayne County Animal Services? Are they in violation of the NC Law? http://www.ncvmb.org/

3. Did the Wayne County Animal Services have a plan for operations during the natural disaster? Their Hours are listed as Monday - Friday 12:00 - 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. If no plan why not?

Was the Wayne County Animal Services in compliance with the Federal Pets Evacuation and Transportation Standards Act of 2006 (PETS Act)?

4. Since NC Law requires 'under the supervision of a veterinarian may perform such duties as are required in the physical care of animals and in carrying out medical orders as prescribed by the veterinarian', who is the veterinarian supervising the Wayne County Animal Services? None listed on Wayne County Animal Services web site.

5. The owner of Crazy's Claws N Paws, a donation-based animal rescue center.

Per NC Law: 90-187.10. Necessity for license; certain practices exempted.

Nothing in this Article shall be construed to prohibit:

(1) Any person from administering to animals, the title to which is vested in the person or the person's employer, except when the title is so vested for the purpose of circumventing the provisions of this Article;

Does this address Crazy's Claws N Paws?

No, Wayne County is no where near Asheville. I live in Greene County, NC and it’s sandwiched between Greenville/Pitt County and Goldsboro/Wayne County.

Looks like the drugs (only one seems to be OTC) she gave to the animals were NOT over-the-counter, but prescription meds. Also, it seems she asked for donation of a prescription drug. I believe they can only be administered with the OK of a vet-of-record for that facility.

Never save an animal unless you first fill out a form 27B/6.

Which mushrooms? Time of year? What part of Oregon?

I’m in Oregon and sometimes get to pick chanterelles during deer season. With the recent rains and warm weather coming there should be plenty of all kinds.

From Coos Bay, north. Matsutakes, chanterelles, lobsters during deer season. Most of the channys I’ve seen are east of 101. Not sure of the permit situation of how many you could take for personal use.
