The problem is not always liberals. We have more than a few on our own side who worship order uber alles. They love new laws, rules, zoning, permits, etc. They are the petty fascists you often see that run HOAs, and local officials who want to dictate every petty aspect of your life. There are more than a few on our side who think the government always knows best and are willing to smack down anyone who deviates from their petty Prussian mentality.
It isn’t just a leftist compulsion.
