Ted and Heidi Cruz were ‘protected’ by shooing them out of the door, upon which the thugs got exactly what they wanted and triumphantly left (they ‘dispersed’ on their own)...and they got supper later in a secluded area; hopefully they weren’t charged a dime for their inconvenience...

The staff did shut them down as fast as they could. They called the police and escorted the Cruzes to a safe place. What can anyone do to a bunch if screaming lunatics that force themselves into a restaurant?
What else did you want the staff to do? In my opinion they did everything right.

Recognizing that there was potential for escalation, our stellar management team immediately diffused the situation. Per our policy for events of this nature, the police were called and the guest escorted to privacy–our highest priority is always the well-being of our customers. When the situation resolved a few minutes later, our guests returned to thank the staff for their support and to finish their meal.

Anytime we read that a certain entity has received death threats, we can be certain the perpetrator is a liberal/fascist/antifa activist.
Conservatives don’t do death threats. Period.

They did. These people are waiters and waitresses they are not armed police. They immediately called the police. I think they handled the situation the best they could.

They didn’t let it happen. I was there. There was a bunch of sudden loud commotion and the #fiola people hustled to get @tedcruz and his wife out, and the protestors out, I bet as fast as they could. @SenTedCruz came back, went thanking everyone, and then sat to finish his meal.

Not joking. “The couple was escorted out of the restaurant through a side entrance, before being brought back in later through the kitchen after to enjoy the rest of their meal, according to the statement.”
The staff protected the Ted and Heidi Cruz from the mob by stashing them in a back room. Later they quietly escorted them back through the kitchen into the dining area where they got supper.

Somebody in that restaurant tipped these liberal shits off that Cruz was there. That restaurant should be blacklisted until they out the little fiend and fire him/her/it.

Exactly, I had my doubts when I first heard the story, but it looks as if the restaurant handled this the best way they could. Without security on site (how much security could they really have in any case for something crazy like this?), all they could do was try to protect their customers, the Cruz’s) while they got the thugs out of the restaurant.

Anybody have any in to the Cruz campaign?
I take a look at Jen Hatmaker’s facebook page occasionally to see what she’s talking about, & last night I saw she will be interviewing his opponent on her podcast.
Several asked if she would also interview Cruz, & she replied something to the effect that he doesn’t have town halls, or return phone calls or emails, so no.
Possibly his campaign knows about this & had no interest in it, but just in case they would want to respond I wanted to see if I could point them in that direction.

Most restaurants don't have the means to hire riot control crews to handle liberal thugs... Cruz left then came back... meal was finished.
Maybe the restaurant could have called the police - but with that type of human scum they would have come back and picketed. These are bored rich kids who are losers compared to their fathers. They WANT the press... shows 'daddy' they 'made it' after all...
Best outcome is what happened. "Daddy" ignored them...
If the FBI wasn't a bunch of corrupt liberal butt kissers they would investigate this, tap restaurant phones and arrest all people making death threats.
