I don’t think this is about “getting to the truth” because she’s not going to add one iota of new information and the prosecutor is likely not going to press her hard enough to break through the conditioning and fabricated truth.
But this will check a box, and I fully expect the committee to vote and send this nomination to the full Senate tomorrow.

If there were open minds & the Truth was what the Committee was really about, maybe it would be useful to have the hearing; however, the nomination is strictly on partisan lines and the only thing that will change is if some Republicans allow this nomination to be assassinated by the Dems.
