This is a circus and most sane people view it as such. It will not change the hyperbole in the media one bit. It is political theater and you are falling into the trap of thinking this carries more weight than it does.
She is not very convincing, but that won’t change the opinion of the punditry class. The only thing that matters in this whole thing is that Mitch is very angry over this whole thing and he obviously believes he has the votes. That is all that counts - the left needed to break way Collins, Murkowski, and Flake and it appears that even they are upset over how unfair and manipulated this whole process has been. Those were the only three votes that counted and if they do not fold, it will open the door for a few democrat senators up for election in Trump states to vote for him also.
I have seen NOTHING today that changes that equation.

Volunbeer..... Politicians look for truth by wetting their finger and putting it in the air to see which way the political wind is blowing… this so-called Committee hearing… is causing a hurricane wind to blow against the nomination thus far.
Those swing vote politicians Will be able to find all the shade they need… this woman, left unchallenged, will and has come across as sympathetic “enough” and believable “enough” for them to vote against the nomination....
... I contend that this is not a court of law… but clearly and entirely a court of public opinion… just listen to even the conservative stations… everybody is scratching her head as to “what the hell is going on”
