I think he will be confirmed and I think Judge K was wrong in saying his life had been destroyed. This is not like the Thomas/Hill debacle. Hill knew Thomas. She could not prove wrongdoing but some people still have doubt. (not me). Kavanaugh did not know Ford, they did not travel in the same circles, he had no recollection of her, and she had no particulars as to the house, date, etc. She will be found out to be a whacko paid nutcase disruptor after he is seated.

In his mind, as of today, I’m sure he firmly believes his life has been destroyed. A year from now he may have a different perspective. For now, he feels what he feels.
Who knows how this might impact his marriage? And if he isn’t voted in, then his life HAS been destroyed.
I think she was abused as a child. But not by Kavanaugh. Maybe a member of her family who because of loving him can’t remember.
