He put her in a lose/lose. If she's lying about not knowing about the offer (if I were betting I'd choose that), she's a liar. If she in fact did not know, the lawyers are in very serious trouble.

Yes. It's very good. And it is why her life is now far less valuable to them. She knows too much and probably will be too distressed to not have a very bad accident or commit suicide.

We're getting into wild speculation here. This whole thing is beyond even how far beyond fiction the real world has been since President Trump came along to "drain the swamp".

You make a great point. When she came along and they looked at her resume, they probably thought they had someone with a real good resume. Her vague memory could be coached into a real plausible story. But in spite of the delay for a whole lot of coaching, she fell short even with gentle questioning. The 'pubs by going soft didn't give the dems the "bully" agenda. She should probably surround herself with friends until the next vote, if she has any. (that was cruel, I don't take it back)
