Payback for Garland???
What the heck did anybody “do” to Garland? His honor was not impugned, he was not branded a rapist or sexual abuser, he did not have women and men coming out of the woodwork saying how evil he was, and his reputation was not besmirched.
The only thing that happened with Garland is that nothing happened. Is this worth blood vengeance?
If it were me or my candidate? heck yes. I sure as hell didn’t like the guy, especially on RKBA, but personally I think not bringing it up for a vote was -while successful as a tactic - just as bad in the long run as using the ‘nuclear option’ was for the other side in terms of the payback when the opportunity arises.
I’m of the opinion that *ALL* candidates should go directly to an up or down vote. Elections have consequences and the elected President should get their person unless tangible, criminal activity can be proved. Just my opinion.
