An Arizona company has recalled more than 6.5 million pounds of beef that could be contaminated with salmonella.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall Thursday.
Officials are asking people to check for products with "EST.267" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
Symptoms of salmonellosis include diarrhea, abdominal cramps and fever, and can last up to a week. Most people recover without treatment.

Actually I am not. Figure I should eat my rare burgers while my in.une system is still young enough to hold up, however.
I’m mid 50’s and still have a pretty iron gut. I’ve eaten some pretty dicey food and never had to pay the price.
You know you’re living in a wealthy country when that much food worth that much money can be binned for something so minor as this.

The number should be encoded on the label, close to the date, may be part of another number there. I don’t know why they said inside USDA sticker because that is not on each package.
