Funny you should mention Trump’s massive crowd sizes this year.
In 2910, Obama’s first midterms, Obama’s crowd sizes were down up to 80% in 2010 midterm campaigns from 2008, just 2 years before. From The Guardian, a strong Obama supporting outfit:

Expect ICE to step up enforcement actions in certain congressional districts in the first week of November, in the run up to November 6 with ICE patrol cars packed not too far from polling booths on the day of the elections. That should make quite a few of the millions of Mexican illegals who regularly vote in our elections to sh*t their pants.
