Here's what we know about the limo's passengers, according to the New York Times and other reports:
- The celebration was for Amy Steenburg's 30th birthday.
- The limousine was rented by Axel Steenburg's for his wife's birthday. Axel and Amy Steenburg, from Amsterdam, were married in June. They both died in the crash.
- Mary Dyson, Amy Steenburg's sister, and Mary's husband, Rob Dyson, died in the crash.
- Allison King, Amy Steenburg's sister, died in the crash.
- Abby Jackson, Amy Steenburg's sister, and Abby's husband, Adam Jackson, died in the crash. Abby Jackson was a teacher in the Amsterdam School District, according to the The Times Union. The couple left behind two daughters, a toddler and a 4 year old, the newspaper reported.
- Rich Steenburg, Axel Steenburg's brother, was killed in the crash. The brothers worked for GlobalFoundries, a foundry that produces semiconductors, according to the New York Times.
- Erin McGowan and Shane McGowan died in the crash. Rocco Semprivio, Erin's stepfather, told the New York Times that the couple married in June.
- Amanda Halse and her boyfriend, Patrick Cushing, were killed in the crash. The couple had been dating for about a year, Karina Halse, Amanda's sister, told Good Morning America.
