Venomous sea creatures on the rise thanks to climate change

Human beings might have to cope with an increasing amount of venomous bites, stings, and other brush ups with poison due to climate change. That’s according to a new study, coming at the same time that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a report warning that negative impacts from a warming world are coming faster than expected.

According to a massive new analysis of poisonous or venomous aquatic animals, dangerous species might become increasingly common in new ranges. Species whose ranges might shift polewards due to warmer water include lionfish, sea snakes, crown-of-thorns starfish and a number of different types of venomous jellies.

According to the researchers, the problem is only going to be exacerbated in the future as more and more people move into coastal areas. They note that by the end of the century, 50 percent of the world’s population will be living within 60 miles of a coastline.

“There are more and more people going in the water,” Purcell agrees.

“We are a part of our environment and our ecosystem. Changes affect us and we change what’s happening in our ecosystem,” Neylan says.

“...the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a report warning that negative impacts from a warming world are coming faster than expected...”

Hmmmmmm.

An organization formed and funded based on a hoax is making findings to support its continued existence?

Super series.

But great white sharks like cold waters, so we won’t have to worry about them anymore. Surf’s up!

Why worry about lionfish, crown of Thorn starfish or sea snakes? Just catch them and sell them to the Japanese... they’ll eat anything.

Climate “scientists” are working double shifts today getting ready to warn that Hurricane Michael is proof that global warming makes hurricanes move faster, thus reducing preparation and evacuation time for coastal residents.

These “scientists” have just gotten rested up from working lots of overtime warning that Hurricane Florence proved that global warming makes storms move slower, thus increasing rainfall and endangering coastal residents.

It’s bringing on more venomous and dangerous land creatures, too. Genus Leftist with sub-species Antifa, #MeToo, MoveOn, #BLM, knee takers, etc.

How to torture climate alarmists / tree huggers with 2 simple questions:

1 - Are humans superior to all other life on earth, or are we just another species?

2 - If we’re just another species, anything we do is just part of the evolutionary process. Why do you think that needs to be changed?

(follow up with “Ohhhhh, so if we are holding ourselves to higher standards than other life, we must be superior.”

Right on cue.
Each day, we get a minimum of one disaster due to climate change.

Man, every single day it's some big scary malady that is going to consume all of mankind by... climate change!

I always notice that they never describe any possible benefit, just whatever is wrong with humans, animals, nature, sea slugs, it's all the fault of climate change. The election of Trump? Climate change? Kavanuagh? Climate change. Dirty dishes in the sink? Why, climate change, of course.

The Climate Change Daily Goebbels headline rarely makes me laugh out loud, but this one did. Venomous Sea Creatures is a great name for a band.

I simply cannot imagine my life without coral reefs.

What would I do? What would any of us do?

The thought of that is almost as frightening as the thought of life without polar bears.
