If the Turks have tapes the Saudi's probably do too. Did the Turks divulge methods and sources in publicizing this? (Not that I care.)

Rush Limbaugh got rather lost in the weeds trying to explain how it couldn't have been an IWatch.

Erdogan very likely has had the Saudi embassy bugged and that was a cover story IF they actually have recordings.

Erdogan and Saudi don't get along.

Once again, where is the body?

The Turks have released what they have in order to benefit the Turks. From another thread, Harmless Teddy Bear wrote, “ anyone who believes anything the Turks say should be sprayed for aphids and placed on a sunny windowsill.”

I was afraid they would find him suspended from a door knob with a red scarf around his neck.

Surprisingly balanced report from MSM.

But, “Turkish pro-government newspaper Yeni Safak...”. Is there any other kind of newspaper in Turkey? Erdogan has imprisoned or killed all independent journalists after the so-called coup.

No media outrage from those journalist murders... hmmm.

Actually, that is not entirely true. Jordan and a couple of the smaller countries are OK, but nobody that can be a counterweight to Iran.

'Erdogan very likely has had the Saudi embassy bugged and that was a cover story IF they actually have recordings.'

Of course. The fact people were/are running around talking about a iwatch is goofy. Naturally they would have had it bugged.

Unfortunately the 9/11 Saudis control a large percentage of the world’s oil and have the power to cause severe economic disruptions. Now if Trump were really clever, somehow he would provoke the 9/11 Saudis into taking some rash action, that would result in a very quick decapitation of the 9/11 Saudi royals and put the oil into “international” hands. It would be a bit messy but in the long run it would be beneficial to the entire world. The 9/11 Saudis have done much harm to the US and the world. They can never be trusted and need to go.

Kashoggii was a Compost part-time columnist, so the Fake Newsies think this is the biggest problem on the face of the earth. After all, all “journalists” are selfless saints.

And of course, they’re desperate to somehow pin blame on Trump.

"Khashoggi was a legal permanent resident of the US. "

"Friends helped Khashoggi obtain a visa that allowed him to stay in the United States as a permanent resident. [Barnett] Rubin [senior fellow at New York University’s Center on International Cooperation wrote a letter to the Department of Homeland Security] recalling his first meeting back in 1989 and attesting to his “character, intellect, knowledge, political perspective and work as a journalist.”

I believe he got the visa in 2017. I'd like to know who approved it...probably some member of the Clinton swamp.

There is no way to spin this to say that oops, somebody fell, severed this guy’s fingers, cut off his head, disposed of the body, and repainted the whole place. Trashing the reporter is not going to work either because even if he was a crappy guy who wrote crappy things, writing crap doesn’t warrant what happened to this man. The only way around this is to admit that we need the Saudis. Erdogan is no substitute, the man wants to rule the world, and lets not forget all the thousands of people he had rounded up on trumped up charges.

No, we stick by the Saudis unless this 32-year-old prince does inherit everything while continuing to spiral. Hopefully, the King has a change of heart.

“Rush Limbaugh got rather lost in the weeds trying to explain how it couldn’t have been an IWatch.”

The Turkish Intelligence Service (MIT) could have put a bug on Khashoggi (with his consent).

Additionally, they could have replaced his iWatch with a special spy version, or just used the existing capability of the iWatch, and provided an LTE receiver/transmitter in a car outside for it to connect.

"We don’t have a dog in this fight."

Does anyone know why he was in Turkey? He was in London before he came here. The guy seemed to get around. He should have just turned down the invitation to the Embassy. He chose poorly.

> This means the Saudi government lied to President Trump dozens of times previously.

...or it means that they told him the truth unofficially, but asked him to hold off divulging it publicly, until they cleaned up the mess at home and divulged it themselves.

...or it means that he sits in a dark prison in KSA and his death is a cover story, while they extract his intel via interrogation.

All kinds of diplomatic possibilities.

I told some people at work that when a particular person uses the “could care less”, he is actually correct. Only because his lack of care is infinite.

Would be easier than bugging the embassy and having it detected.

And could explain why Saudi Security partied like it was 999 on Khashoggi if he was personally bugged.
