Sheriff: ICE Forced to Quick-Release Migrant Families in Arizona

ICE told Arizona Sheriffs it has run out of detention space to handle the number of migrants illegally crossing the border and presenting themselves at ports of entry. This lack of housing and the Flores Settlement’s 20-day release requirement forced ICE to release a large number of “family units" in Arizona all at once.

Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot told Fox News, “ICE hasn’t been able to keep up with individuals coming up the border from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, because they’re overwhelmed. They’re releasing them out of the front door of their facilities…Each of our communities are going to be faced with this crisis and one thing sheriffs have said is that what goes on on the border won't stay at the border, it's throughout the U.S.”

As of October 15th, ICE began releasing family units without approved “post-release plans.”

ICE released about 800 family members in Arizona last week and 200 in Yuma alone. With a population just over 200,000, Yuma has far fewer services to assist the families. Those released to Phoenix and Tucson typically find more help but the large numbers strained their ability to cope.

If the Arizona Legislature were to Formally Declare an Invasion, the President could Immediately respond with Military Force and do as he pleases,Not Until.

Read your constitution it is the responsibility of the executive branch to act to protect us from an invasion.

True, but a State Legislature must Formally Declare an Invasion and then Demand the President enforce the border with the Military

No the president has authority to act unilaterally in defense of our country. This is an invasion he does not need approval to act in defense of an invading force. Mexico is not stopping this and is act of aggression. Please educate yourself on the constitution

The ones coming in now tend to vote Democrat and will work cheap for Republicans. That’s what happened. Drain the cesspool.

There’s PLENTY of room on the streets of San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Detroit and a host of other “sanctuary” cities. Load them all on buses and deliver them to the people that want them. Actually empty the buses in front of Pelosi’s house. Let the buses roll 24/7. OVERWHELM them with illegal invaders. Thinly spread across the nation they are a chronic disease BUT concentrated in the areas that are pushing this crap they then become a terminal cancer. They want third world invaders then by God give them third world invaders. Droves and droves.

Unfortunately no matter where they are dropped they will go where they want to in time......that means anyones back yard across the nation. Lawlessness people as this will not change their colors just because we think they should.....rather they change neighborhoods transforming them to look like what they came from.

We should really have a way to process asylum seekers without caging them or letting them in.
They should have to show up at our embassy in whatever country they’re in and apply there. Close the door to them here....period. That would stop this crap.

U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw late Tuesday said the Trump administration has for months indiscriminately “engaged in a widespread practice of separating migrant families,” including those who entered the country legally seeking asylum. The government, Sabraw wrote, was not prepared for the influx of separated children and had no plan in place for reunification

Nope, nothing to do but turn them loose so they are forever here. Nothing else could be done.

“What has happened?”

We let the Cultural Marxists take over. This is their new plan to destroy the U.S. concocted after they figured out that the proletarian revolution simply wasn’t going to happen here.

That was what I thought too. No asylum at our borders. Apply in your country through our consulates.

Kind of hard to be a law and order guy and then actively flaunt the laws-—blame Congress in general...
