Yes, I have. I had an uncle who lived in Donna. We would go visit him and when we did we’d go to Reynosa and have dinner.

At the time we did not even think about it.

Today it is different.

Last time I was in MX was in Juarez. Had worked on a couple store sets in El Paso and the crew wanted to go to Mexico. We did not stay long.

I had 2 customers in NM that were big bass fishermen, both were hispanic. They got to the point the would never go back to MX. Said nothing is worth taking that risk.

Have been to Presidio a number of times, old customer there. Never went across the border, but think it might be better. There is a Mennonite colony there. Strange place, conversation in the stores can go from English to Spanish to German all in the same conversation.

Whey would you question that I had been in the valley?

My Friend....I'm sorry for my blow..up.

I'm originally from SoCal..used to surf down in Baja..at least 2-3 times a year.

Never had much of a problem...Oh the Feds would come to our campsite...with their Auto's...but I was always surfing...when they combed the camp...

I always heard they were easy to please....

We got drunk in a few places...and made it back to camp...okay. And made it out of Baja...

But I would never go back down there again....
