Megyn Kelly and her lawyer are set to have a call with NBC brass today and we’re told that she is going to demand $50 million as a settlement for her sudden firing.

If anyone remembers her interview of William Ayers while she was still at FOX, it was what Journalism should be.
She let the mad bomber, now a professor and obama’s good commie buddy, answer every question without interruption then when he was done, she came down on him like a ton of bricks with well researched facts to dispute every lie he just told.
Then fast forward to her galactic failure as a moderator for the Presidential debates where instead of her onlly job of asking a question, she started to argue with DJT and tried to talk over him. No wonder thinking people started to hate her.
Funny how karma has a strange way of coming back around....
I have mixed feelings about the Aunt Jemima characer too. I guess that’s why I put it out there. Ultimately Aunt Jemima was a character used to brand a pancake mix and syrup.....very much like Ronald McDonald, Colonel Sanders, or Jeffry the Giraffe.....right? But, was the Aunt Jemima character condescending to black people? In other words, is the character meant to be the ‘house slave’? All I can say is, when I was growing up as a white kid in mostly ‘black Oakland’ I never once thought of Aunt Jemima as anything more than a picture on a breakfast product. To me, she meant happiness. It’s Sunday breakfast with my family!!!!.......nothing more....nothing less. But, if you’re a generation or two older than me, I can see how some images might be offensive and considered racist stereotypes.
But, lets get back to the Pirates and Viking images. Those two groups were murderers and marauders in real life. But No one today associates those images with anything more than silly fun. In the end.....what one thinks or doesn’t think about an image is ultimately in the eye of the beholder. There is a time to be sensitive and there is a time to let it go. Obviously, in regards to Pirates and Vikings.....we’ve decided to let it go.
All I know is this: With the election of Donald Trump, our country is not seeing a rise in white racism as the political left would have you believe....and arguments about ‘black face Halloween costumes’ ring more hollow than ever. Instead, the rise of Donald Trump represents the beginning of the end of effective ‘Victim politics’...the beginning of letting go of the past sins of America and embracing a future where everyone of all races truly gets along.
This is devastating to the political left because since the end of the Civil War minorities have defined themselves, motivated themselves, and shaped themselves around the idea that they are victims....and for many years it was absolutely true. When this meme actually comes to an end.....when minorities are truly up for the grabs from a political standpoint...the political left as it is currently defined is through....and this is what scares the hell out of them.....not President Trump.
Desperate times call for desperate actions....like acting offended over silly Halloween costumes.

Megan Kelly wanted to be the one to bring Trump down over his insults of Rosie O’Donnell....and build her ‘brand’ as a crusader for women’s rights. BARF. By the way...a little history....On ‘the View’ Rosie made fun of Trumps hair and his looks in general. Trump, as we now know, never lets an insult pass without a counter punch. When Rosie said that about him....he called her a ‘fat, disgusting, slob’. Pretty shocking I guess.
Ultimately, what got me mad about Kelly in this Presidential debate was that Megan Kelly said, “Why do you call women fat slobs....?” or something to that effect. She didn’t say ‘Rosie’ she said ‘women.’ It was a classic ‘Fake News’ spin on a story....the kind that we all hate. And, why was this question in a presidential debate anyway?
We all understand that Trump is flawed....he likes the girls...we know...got it .....but, we’re looking for a leader who gets stuff done....a leader who would push back against the Obama led corruption of the last 8 years. That’s what we wanted....and we all wanted to hear what Trump had to say about this sort of thing. Megan Kelley totally missed this huge point.....and instead, she made it about something small and meaningless to most Americans...but hugely important to the PC crowd of DC and New York. In the end, she stepped in front of a ‘Deplorable’ train and got run over.
After she did the unforgivable in regards to the political right, she then threw in with PC crowd on the left. Well....they never forgave her for being a woman from Fox News. Now....she’s completely check-mated. Still, she’s got money. She’ll be fine. And, so it has been said.
Her firing was ratings and personality based. Not ideological. Unquestionably she has a tin ear on race, but simply stating the Halloween dress-up standard she witnessed as a child was just a ruse to get rid of her—with prejudice.
....Think it will happen?
