Well, better a bit of smoke than those horrid fires. Just horrible what’s going on out there. :-(
Fun? NOT! Too durn windy and it makes it a misery to be outside.
But now I don’t have to go out again until Thurs. morning and that’s just fine and dandy. LOL
Unhealthy air I can at least try and avoid.
I’m sure getting to stay in tomorrow was a very strong motivation to get ‘er done tonight. LOL! What’s the temp there now?
Ours is 32. Not as breezy tonight, thank goodness.
Oh man! I’m so sorry to hear about your friends losing everything. The good news is they made it out - - so many weren’t that lucky.
I hope you don’t have any need to get out and about for a while.
Yeah, shopping in the rain isn’t my cup of tea and avoiding it is a big motivator! LOL!
It’s around 37 or so here but the wind chill is much lower. It’s blowing pretty hard tonight. The high tomorrow is only supposed to be around 40 and if there’s still wind with the rain, it will be a nasty, nasty day outside.
That makes it a good day to stay in and get some housework done.
Glad to hear the wind died down there. Makes it a little easier for the kittehs to stay warm in their hidey spots.

I haven’t seen hide nor hair of them tonight, so I’m sure they are cuddled up together in the shed. That’s their favorite place to go. Where the pad is that I put down for them is on the side that backs up to hubby’s compost pile. That would give some protection from any wind that would want to come through any cracks.
Ghost probably doesn’t go in with them, but poor ol’ guy has been doing this for years and probably has his own favorite spots to keep warm in. I also placed a towel on the front porch. l opened the door yesterday morning and he was sleeping on the door mat that is made from hard rubbery stuff. Not at all comfortable.
It’ll be good that you won’t have to be out in the weather headed your way. Sounds like a homemade soup or chili kind of a day! :)

Did you and Gizmo make your trip to the lake or was it a day to just stay home in the warmth? If it was as cold and windy there as it was here, the latter was the better option. BRRR
I guess I didn’t either. My score was awful too. Plus it’s been a LONG time since I’ve watched any of them. LOL!

Aw, poor ol’ Ghost. I wish he’d buddy up with at least one of his young ‘uns or with Lil Bit so he could be a little warmer in this weather. Maybe he’ll use the towel you put out there and be a little more comfy.
Even if it wasn’t going to be so nasty tomorrow, it’ll be nice to go nowhere for a day. The Museum Sat. the Veterans Day parade Sun., the museum again yesterday, and two store runs today. The monthly Republican Women’s Group meeting is Thurs. morning. Yep, I’m looking forward to just chillin’ out tomorrow. LOL
No soup or chili. I got a pretty shoulder roast this afternoon and will do a cola roast tomorrow. Then I won’t have to cook for a couple more days. :-)

Hubby would agree with you. LOL! He loves cola roast any time but especially during cold weather.
You’re right. I haven’t had this much going on in quite a while. I’m ready for a break in the early risings. Hard on a night owl. LOL! I won’t be up much longer. I got 8 hours’ sleep today but am still dragging.

It was dark here, the clouds were so thick. No rain at least but we’re getting little spits of snow right now. Hubby just came in from the garage and mentioned it.
We get a decent warm-up this weekend but have two cold wet days to get through first. *sigh*
