Trees have no impact on cell service.

I have a HP15C. Some times I have thought that if I was allowed only one possession, the 15C would be it.

The flashlights on phones are nowhere near as useful as a real flashlight.

I have ZERO back ground of just how a cell phone work's.

I live on what you would call a plateau / cliff (approx. 250 - 300 Ft. +/- above the valley I overlook.

Yet if I jump in a car and move / go to a property (on the private road, while staying in my car) that has a clear view (they clear cut their 5 acre plot) from the road to the cliff / view, I get a GREAT signal. Both the T-Mobile LG Flip phone & the Samsung S9.

My daughter just brought me a new Samsung S9, I get approx. 1 (one) bar. My previous cell phone was a flip phone ZERO bars. I think that also played a part, i.e. old technology. Depending where I decide in my house to try and make a call on the new Samsung S9 Verizon, still not able to make a call.

That's my story, I'm sticking to it.

Sorry, I was referring to cell phone coverage in the ‘fly-over’ states. The post I was responding to mentioned that it was bad, my point being that the market can sort *THAT* out well.
Thanks

I am a capitalists myself. Market forces work great when allowed to. With communications DC thinks they are smarter than anyone else and put their names on regs to take credit for something. I have slow centurylink which I will drop when something reasonable comes along. FCC demanded antenna TV go digital so I have no TV now. I do not know if they wanted to kill antenna TV or got paid off for the frequencies. Free Market at work says no TV for me.

I checked the plural of encyclopedia and it said it can be pedia, pediae, or pediae with the last two letters space less. So who knows. We both know those books are rarely used and just gather dust.

Nice that if I need some info, I can just use my handy dandy iPhone -——wherever I am. Love it!

I have that sort of small flashlight in red, but not with a stungun. I must have one in each room in the house. Also in my bag and in the car. Handy dandy. Easy to use and pinpoints things. Can’t remember when I last used my iPhone one.

It’s amazing how many people on here aspire to be Adam Sandler’s mother from “Waterboy.”

Since the lights can be annoying, having it behind furniture can be a good idea. Just make sure it’s something that can be moved when needed. Because the beeps can be even worse.

Bull.
Trees will affect cell service.
And satellite radio.
And radar.
And GPS.
And.....
Varying levels. But Never say Never.
