It’s called “jury nullification.”
This is why Dems want unanimous juries. All they need is one “don’t put another black man in jail” juror and evidence doesn’t matter. Like the former Black Panther on O.J.’s jury who gave him the ‘black power’ salute after acquital, all about sticking it to whitey.
