Huber was appointed by Sessions, the same guy who insisted on Roesnstein being his Deputy, and then recused himself and handed it all off to Rosenstein.

Sessions is the fulcrum that pivots this whole debacle.

I don’t see why DOJ cannot just open another Special Prosecutor investigation for Deep State obstruction. Mueller be damned! If the POTUS can be knocked around with all these investigations, etc., so can Mueller. JUST DO IT!

>> I’d say tighten your seatbelts, the next four weeks should be interesting <<

Yeah, we’ve been hearing that from the Q folk for two years now. Time to put up or shut up.

So what’s after Huber being nothingville? I don’t think there’s anyone left to save the day.

OR just “May have cost us the future of the country”. The distinction in my mind is, maybe futile, but I still hold out hope that Trump will appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the other candidates in the same manner, method and reasons he is being investigated. The evidence to justify such an investigation already exists manifold. The House has reams of evidence and testimony already assembled.

And because this scandal includes the DOJ and FBI as conspirators in a major crime, they cannot investigate themselves. So for those who shudder at the injustice of the Special Prosecutor law, if ever there was a case that required on this one is it.

Hope springs eternal. I’m just a little ticked off Trump was not able to re-establish the rule of law in this country. It may very well cost him the election and us our future.

I am too. We can only speculate. My opinion is, the Mueller investigation is a sort of “check” on his maneuvering. As it is now, anything he does they start to cry ‘impeachment’ and ‘obstruction of justice’. I suspect Mueller has nothing tangible on him but the investigation is still open. As bad and unfair as it is currently, Mueller could still make it worse.

I think Trump is just biding time and not wanting to escalate while Mueller is still operating. And who knows Mueller may not close up shop anytime soon. But my eternally hopeful spring says that as soon as Mueller wraps up his investigation Trump will take action.

My opinion, since this case has to do with conspiracy and collusion inside the intelligence agencies, they cannot conduct their own investigation. If ever a case called for a Special Prosecutor, this one does. And for Trump it is also personal - he was their target! But the country deserves an investigation too. We cannot shrug our shoulders at these kinds of abuses of authority, and especially since the loudest mouths basically just pointed their finger at Trump and accused him of what they themselves did, cosmic justice demands it.

Please explain your post.

Opportunism is generally used with a largely negative connotation, though not always. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt here, but I would like some clarification on exactly what you mean if you can provide it.

Since late last year and early this year, Dan Bongino has been one of the stalwart conservatives who has done more than any other single person to bring this travesty of a scandal to the forefront and expose it to a far wider audience than any one else.

Do you think he is doing this out of greed or for simple personal gain?

Please. I am on your side, I think. I am trying to determine why someone would call him an opportunist, which if you have ever read a single post I have ever written, would understand I don’t view Dan Bongino as an “opportunist”.

I am his biggest endorser here on FR, and I don’t think I am wrong to say that.
