A mother who scaled the U.S.-Mexico border fence near the San Ysidro Port of Entry Friday night fell and was impaled by pieces of rebar, Border Patrol said Saturday.

The 26-year-old Guatemalan woman was with her two children, ages 3 and 5, when she crossed illegally, said Border Patrol Agent Tekae Michael. She told agents she was not part of the massive migrant caravan camped out in Tijuana, Michael said.

Border Patrol arrived to render medical aid about 8:25 p.m. and requested assistance from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. She was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

That’s the leftist line...”compassion”, when they’re not using the race card, all designed to trick us out of our heritage.

Yet the rich leftists, including the Pope, all live in well-guarded, gated communities, well away from what they propose for the rest of us. Besides, the Holy City New Jerusalem has a wall great and high, with extreme vetting.

Does that have something to do with a woman impaled on a piece of rebar?

Do we make America, the world, or our own souls more secure by saying (as some have said here) that they wish she were dead, and her little children, too?

I cannot imagine any American president or patriot, in our whole 200+ year history, who wold wish this woman harm. It is the impulse of vindictive sadism which does actual, grave damage to our American and Judeo-Christian culture and heritage.

Join in the hope that this unfortunate woman will heal well and bring her children back home to Honduras in peace. She should not trespass on other people's property. She should do what she can, with her countrymen, to make Honduras a decent place to live and raise a family.

We are not responsible for the actions of foolish people, including foolish, paid women who place their children in harm’s way by carrying them thousands of miles away from their home country, and then using them as tools to help them illegally break into another country. No compassion is warranted.

The world becomes more secure when ALL borders are secure, particularly our country which the communist leftists have encouraged every other nation to hate.

A good example of “vindictive sadism” would be judges and communists forcing our nation to have open borders.

Right, about your last statement. Everyone should stay in their own country and work to make it a better place.

" No compassion is warranted." What a strange thing to say. Compassion is not something that has to be "warranted." You don't have to "warrant" compassion when you're lying bleeding on the ground. Even a dog gets our compassion when it's suffering. I am sorry you have had some sort of deprivation which wold cause you to say a thing like that.

"The world becomes more secure when ALL borders are secure."

I certainly agree with that.

Let us pray this woman gets back safely home to Honduras (or wherever her home is) with her kids.

Don’t think you can psychoanalyze me with your self-righteous babble.

Compassion is most certainly something that can be warranted or unwarranted. I have compassion on my country, and on the people whose lives have been harmed and even destroyed by the actions of so-called “compassionate” do-gooders who can’t see beyond the mote in their eyes.

I didn’t say she was right to try to trespass into our country. I said she is a wounded woman bleeding on the ground with her helpless 3 and 5 year old children beside her, who deserves compassion— not the cruel remarks of keyboard commandos who wish she were dead.

You’ll hate this, but I ‘ll pray for you and her. It’s all I can do.

“I have never given a dime for programs which encourage and abet this sort of lawlessness, and I never will

“So once again, you are telling a falsehood about me.”

If you give any money at all to a Catholic church some of it goes to these programs.

Therefore your statement is a lie if you “tithe” to a Catholic church.

The Catholic church spends millions of tax payer government dollars to harbor and protect illegal alien insurgent invading colonists.

Supporting the Catholic church is also supporting this abhorrent un-Godly un-American practice

Non-Catholics have been told many times that they mast be in subjection the Catholic pope.

And that they cannot achieve everlasting life in heaven with Jesus unless they are a part of Catholicism.

Courtesy ping to smvoice, thanks for your comments.

  1. I do not "tithe" to the Catholic Church in any way, shape, or form, and never have. So your whole premise, which you applied to me, personally, is false from the git-go.

You are extraordinarily casual about saying things about me that have no basis in reality. Stop doing that.

    Thank you.

  2. Anything given to the parish per se and these funds are available to be exploited by people (Cupich!) or projects (CCHD!) or Vatican departments (any of them) that you really don't care to fund. That's the kind of giving I do not practice and do not recommend.

  3. Many other Catholic-affiliated organizations are solidly separately-incorporated or are well-and-truly non-Diocesan initiatives whose resources can't be channeled into the pipeline referred to a #2. Many of these are of sterling character and need and deserve Catholic support. Mother Teresa's order? Yes. EWTN? Yes. The Students for Life group at your local Catholic college? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

  4. Thus, Catholics need to show due discretion when doing their Catholic giving. I would recommend this website Regina Magazine, and in particular their series, "That's My Money,Your Excellencies"

They're outlining the savvy ways to make sure your donations go to the true Catholic Faith and to the true Service of Our Lord Jesus Christ: in other words, Safe Spaces for Catholic Money --- which is an ongoing series of research on how to use your money to feed the Flock and keep every penny of it away from the Wolves.

  5. For an insight on what "being saved" means to a Catholic, I'll have to continue on this theme later because I am in the midst of writing a lesson plan for my students. Suffice it tosay that there are no well-informed Catholics who say you are damned-fer-sure if you are not an ecclesiastic subject of the Bishop of Rome.

If you run into any Catholic who differs and says, "Yeah, but I know for a fact that all non-Catholics ARE going to hell!" --- even and especially Catholics on FR --- take names and give them to me. I will make the matter plain to them. This "everybody else is going to hell" line is NOT what's in the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Good will and a tip o' the hat to you.

"You are extraordinarily casual about saying things about me that have no basis in reality. Stop doing that"

That is quite rude, mindreading and assuming, but this isn't the RF so you can do that in the open forum.

You're reading comprehension is quite poor also.

Go back to my post that you are replying to and see the word "if" in my comments to you.

"Thank you"

That's pretty arrogant, thanking me for reading your rude accusatory comments to me

Did you really expect me to just accept your twisting of my words and think how nice of her to thank me?

That's good that you do not give any money to the Catholic church/perish etc.

"They're outlining the savvy ways to make sure your donations go to the true Catholic Faith..."

I notice you capitalize Both words Catholic and faith.

What IS the True Catholic Faith?

Suffice it tosay (sic) that there are no well-informed Catholics who say you are damned-fer-sure if you are not an ecclesiastic subject of the Bishop of Rome.
I believe I said must be in subjection to the pope. No big "E" word needed. I'm hoping your "phrase" means the same as my simple layman phrase. I do not speak "ecclesiastic" Catholic.

Oh yes there are those right here at FR that have been telling non-Catholics that for years

Maybe, like me,they have been doing in depth studying of Catholicism.

And may know about this history:

"...the Church has infallibly defined as follows:

" There is but one universal ["Catholic" means universal] Church of the faithful, outside which NO ONE at all is saved. (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)

" We declare, say, define, and pronounce that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff. (Pope Boniface VIII, the Bull, Unam Sanctum, 1302.)

" The most Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes, and preaches that NONE of those existing outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans, but also Jews and heretics [Protestants] and schismatics, can have a share in life eternal; but that they will go into the eternal fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, UNLESS before death they are joined with Her

NO ONE, even if he pour out his blood for the Name of Christ, can be saved, unless he remain within the bosom and the unity of the Catholic Church. (Pope Eugene IV, the Bull Cantate Domino, 1441).

So these guys from hundreds of years ago are not "well informed?"

Heh, these are the AUTHORITY FILLED church fathers that MADE the rules.

So those are the only name I'm gonna give you.

Maybe make a lesson of these dogmatic points for your students or do you want to hide it from them?

You apparently had no knowledge of these Catholic Rules and Truths, let's not have more generations be ignorant of what Catholicism teaches,

Catechisms and stuff like that, I don't use them. If the teachings of the church fathers aren't in the catechisms that just doesn't seem right.

Oh and please don't explain to me what catechisms are.

Sorry I couldn't give you anything to take your fellow Catholics to the curb with, they were just passing on the rules.

A tip 'o the chalice to you!
