Migrants approaching the U.S. border... were enveloped with tear gas Sunday after a few tried to breach the fence separating the two countries.... Honduran migrant Ana Zuniga, 23, said she saw migrants open a small hole in concertina wire at a gap on the Mexican side of a levee, at which point U.S. agents fired tear gas at them....
Mexico’s Milenio TV also showed images of several migrants at the border trying to jump over the fence....
U.S. Border Patrol helicopters flew overhead, while U.S. agents held vigil on foot beyond the wire fence....

They convened the demonstration to try to pressure the U.S to hear their asylum claims and carried hand-painted American and Honduran flags while chanting: “We are not criminals! We are international workers!”

Mexico’s Interior Ministry said ... has sent 11,000 Central Americans back to their countries since Oct. 19.... 1,906 of them were members of the recent caravans.
Mexico is on track to send a total of around 100,000 Central Americans back home by the end of this year.

Here is a very well written accounting of the problem we face with Central American immigrants arriving at our border. It IS a Wa-Po article which everyone calls Compost and liars; yet that is not always the case. If you find more honest factual reporting on this situation, let us know. Do share.

Agree. I thought this one was interesting. A Mexican police officer is telling a group from the caravan to not break thru. Also, to not use children as a means to break thru (aka human shield). To stop listening to the people telling them to do so.
