After all the MSM hype about the Mississippi Senate run-off, liberals are faced with the troublesome task this morning of explaining away Cindy Hyde-Smith's comfortable victory.

Smart people should be in charge of the government.

Everyone votes in their best interest. That’s what we expect from our representatives. You either represent our interests or we will find someone who will do what he promises. Don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know that.

I did not like poverty.

“Voting against their own interests” is a well used rationalization when they don’t understand why someone would vote against them.
