Anything public is going to have some degree of contamination, if not fecal matter, then drugs. It cannot be helped. Money in particular.

Touchless public restrooms really help. But compared to households, they are but a drop in the bucket. Everyone simply needs to wash their hands.

Now on the other side of the coin, if we get too pure there goes our immune system.

I’m not much concerned about the everyday germs in my home. My body is used to them. But I still wash my hands at all the appropriate times.
