Combine "ballot harvesting" with the National Popular Vote movement, and one can see the danger that the Electoral College protects us from.
Currently, all those "harvested" ballots stay in California. Can you imagine what would happen if they counted nationally for President?

Can you imagine what would happen if they counted nationally for President? -PJ About thirty years ago, it was "common knowledge" that absentee votes never changed election results.
Said another way, absentee ballots reflected the average of votes.
