The BSA went into this predicament with their eyes open. They were warned a thousand times by parents who had pulled their children out of the organization.

They couldn't abide an organization that was teaching boys and young men traditional values like godliness, reverence, respect, responsibility, self reliance, patriotism, manners.
And horrors! - Teaching them to be honest, loyal and trustworthy.
Not to mention manly arts and crafts like firearm training, hunting, fishing and other outdoor skills.
All character traits that democrats and other liberals find abhorrent and have been working to stamp out for the last 70 years.
Rats and gays destroyed the BSA as they have many other things.
B, Bu, But all homosexuals want is to be able to love whom they want, not to force everyones face in it (BSA, private business owners, private property rental owners, schools, military, ...) right?
My guess was he was also a pedophile rather than merely a homosexual.

Had a district scout executive (BSA employee) who was rumored to be a fag, and he seemed to spend a lot of time with our troop. In retrospect I’ve wondered if he tried something with a kid, because he just disappeared without notice. We just figured it was because he was a queer, and who the hell would want a queer around their kids?
This was the plan from the get go of the progressive liberal homosexuals.
The scouts have an incredible amount of property worth many many millions of dollars.
Where do you think that money will go when they liquidate it?

Two of my friends mailed there Eagle Scout awards back to the BSA a few years ago.

I had not heard that before . Sounds very verifiable.
2 things opened the door for this:
1. Freedom of Association is dead in the United States.
2. All clubs lack for leadership as well as membership.
Groups like BSA are tempted to compromise their charters in pursuit of other groups that might stem their membership declines. Those same membership declines for these associations to look for corporate support — and with that comes strings.
This should be a fun thread.
