He has the power to shut down the government. It's not "King", but it ought to be enough to get his wall funding. He has the power to make members of congress's lives miserable if he wants to do it.
If he doesn't get that wall going, he's going to lose the next election. I believe Ann is absolutely right about that.

The wall should have been priority one the moment he took the oath...there are many things he could have done...close the border, slow search every vehicle/truck, rail car crossing into the US from Mexico...veto every spending bill that did not have money for a wall...people need to stop covering for Trump. He’s broken the one promise that justified his candidacy...controlling illegal immigration.
Bottom line is he just doesn’t care about this issue, beyond talking tough. What is Trumps reelection message going to be - vote for me and this time I’ll build the wall? What a joke. Trump is going to be another Bush Sr, breaking his ‘read my lips promise.’ We’ve been played, people.

You get no flak from Democrats, you can get support from NeverTrump and DramaQueens, and you can pawn yourself off as holier than thou, without having to actually be part of the procress!

Precisely. I’m of the opinion that no other candidate could have withstood the daily onslaught that Trump has and despite that his accomplishments are beyond expectations thus far.
Even so, I feel Trump thought the RINO’s would eventually get behind him, yet they have continued throwing obstacles in his path. Even O-Care would be repealed were it not for McStain.
I do get frustrated too waiting for the wall, but then I ask myself, if we undo Trump’s first two years and could put another candidate in the White House, who would it be? Trump has not gotten everything he wanted, but considering the forces working against him, I’m damn pleased with his results so far and pray everyday that God grants him the strength to keep up the fight.
Bottom line, if Trump fails, we will never see another anti-establishment candidate get a chance and thats why the establishment is doing all it can to make sure he fails.
