Not with a Republican controlled House and a Republican controlled Senate and a President that said he will shut down the government. It will be a cakewalk for the MSM to call it a Trump shutdown.
Frankly I’m “iffy” on the nuke option.
It’s right for matters that are budgetary (the Constitutional supremity of the House on revenue) but not on policy. Frequently it’s “iffy” to serparate money and policy.
Good points. But I would love to see the President hold an oval office address, with the parents and loved ones killed by illegals. With parents of victims of the drug cartels. He’s asking for 5 billion out of a multi-trillion dollar budget to protect the American people. Put as much pressure on the Senators as possible.
