Roughly half of our nuclear forces are on these boomers. One boomer can make Russia a non functional society with its MIRV ed warheads on its many missiles. We have many boomers. Russia can do the same to us but not as most assuredly total destruction. The purpose of the boomers is if the USA has a first strike against our missiles and bombers and assuming total success, the boomers will destroy any nation. Boomers are the ultimate death machine from the depths of the Arctic, Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.
