Pelosi: The Constitution Considers Me Trump’s Equal
The Washington Free Beacon ^ | 3 Jan 19 | David Rutz

Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said in an interview with the New York Times that the Constitution considers her to be President Donald Trump's equal.

Pelosi is set to regain the speaker's gavel after spending eight years as House minority leader. Pelosi was the first female speaker of the House from 2007 to 2011, and she maneuvered to get the party's votes necessary to secure the speakership again after Democrats won back the chamber in the November midterms.

In a piece with a headline declaring her an "icon of female power," Pelosi was asked by the reporter "if she considers herself Mr. Trump's equal."

"The Constitution does," she replied.

In the Constitution she is essentially 1/870th of Trump.

But undoubtedly the first among the other 434 1/870th-of-Trump equals whom she “speaks” for.

Actually the 435 in the House are themselves only equal to half of the larger “Congress”—so I figure she’s 1/870th of Trump according to the Constitution.

.....”She has clearly lost some of her cognitive ability and may well show increasing signs of serious deterioration within the next two years. She clearly has trouble now expressing coherent thoughts.”......

She said the house was in ‘research’ for recess today. Though corrected herself.. She often has ‘sitters’ next to her now to correct her and step in to correct her when she flubs it.

Watching her today has been like watching a cow chew it’s cud, she has a real issue with her tongue staying put.

Spot-on. Members of Congress need to realize that they are not leaders. They are representatives. Big difference.

> There’s no way the Republican led U S Senate will vote for conviction.

You mean Republicans other than Romney, McSally, Collins, Murkowski, and Sasse, and assuming the Dems upcoming 24x7 Watergate 2.0 hearings don't sink Trump's favorable ratings ..

McSally won’t. Doubt Collins will either. Murkowski has a Republican Governor now. Romney would be a one termer.

Sasse is another story.

Pelosi is actually right about that! Because her full title is “Speaker of the House, Defender of the Realm, and Co-Commander-in-Chief”.

Sphincter of the Horse.

Maybe before 1870, however, consider the following:

Controls one body of Congress

Same body of Congress transferred mass amounts on power onto the Executive Branch through the Necessary and Proper Clause

Resulted in a strong degree of Administrative Law which the Executive controls.

Congress controls (Begins with the Speaker's "authority") the budgetary process, however, we have been on Appropriation/Omnibus "budgeting" for the last 9 years which law, crafted by Congress, grants some sort of budgetary Star Chamber made up of the 12 members from the Senate and HOR to direct expenditures as well as creating the budgets for the agencies/State expenditures. This committee favors Senators since they represents States, rather than districts.

Thus, without the Senate being controlled by Democrats, Pelosi's "Speakership" is relegated to denying legislation, that is about it. Trump can do a lot of stuff with the agencies as well as using the Senate to leverage budgetary issues.

Waste of time writing this since she blurted this out for her dumbass constituency/media to eat up, Alzheimer, appeasing her god Lucifer, and her butthurt over the fact that the dems don't control the Senate.

Just try to move into the White House, Nancy. Go ahead, see if the Secret Service thinks you’re equal.
