it is a far worse situation than almost anyone would understand, an invasion

Yes. That's what we've been calling it, now, for years. What's the proper way to stop an invading army, Donald?

I knew people who would ‘go down to the corner’ and high illegals to help them move house as the illegals were much cheaper than moving companies. One set of illegals to help move stuff out of the house and a different set from a different corner to help them move into the new house.

What you are describing is criminal activity. All involved are criminals.

He globalist Jim. Those are scabs taking American jobs.

I don't see our home-grown EBT class, or our between jobs unemployment benefit recipients lining up at 6am to try to get the jobs.

BTW, I "scabbed" a couple of times years ago when I was between jobs and strikes created openings.

Pay US wages and you will get all the labor you want. It isn't slavery when you do it, is it? The new slavers. You got a whip too?

If I want to read losers cutting down the American people I will switch to the DU. Maybe you should go there.

You don’t have to travel to the southwest, the invasion has reached every state.
Virginia is thousands of miles from the border and is suffering the same strains.

Though we live several hundred miles from the border we see the “invasion” right here. My Hub has forbidden me to go to a certain grocery chain here in our little corner of the world because he went in for bread on New Years Eve (we never go there but it was close) and he saw every check out open, lines long as the eye could see, baskets filled with at LEAST 2 cases of beer. It’s real......

So, to you, the EBT class = the American people?

Fact is that day labor is paying what the left says should be the minimum wage- $15.00 an hour (around here-can't vouch for other places).

Don’t complain about welfare or EBT, you’ve lost that right.

I don’t begrudge welfare to those UNABLE to fend for themselves, just to those UNWILLING to do so.

No, you can’t have it both ways. You can’t look the other way while illegals under cut out unskilled work force on one the one hand and decry welfare/EBT on the other. No, you are a hypocrite of the worse kind,

I live 20 miles north of San Diego. A liberal Sanctuary city. 45 cars a month stolen regularly. Home Depot has 50 illegals every day looking for work.

I was working at a startup in San Diego...1997 near what is SR-56/Carmel Creek Rd today. My CEO's Range Rover was one of 5 vehicles stolen from our parking lot THAT WEEK. Unfortunately, the registration in the glove compartment had his home address and keys to his Mercedes Benz. He lost the Mercedes too.

My employer on Campus Point Drive put in tire puncturing devices and key card access out of the lot when we lost multiple cars in a week. When many of the buildings were sold to other companies, the key card controlled gate was removed. It was a major pain to negotiate on my Harley Fat Bob out of the parking structure (steep ramp approaching the card reader...have to ride up, hold brakes, stuff card, wait for gate, start back up the steep ramp).

I’m sad you all are living our life. Here in SoCal, I love Latino Americans. But the illegals are something else and their children and criminals and hungry relatives are taking everything we have. It is exactly like letting a housing project into your home eating your food.

Back in the 90’s, the cartels were stealing 3/4 and 1 ton trucks in Texas cities. Buddy of mine had a 1 ton 4x4 Ford crew cab. Not for long.

Houston cops told him that the cartels steal those so that they can run drugs from Mexico into Texas across fields that would destroy a 1/2 ton truck.

I stay out of Wal-Mart. I prefer a retailer who caters to English speaking Americans.

The Walmart in Pocatello does just fine. Most of the employees and customers are non-hispanic white people who speak English. A small number are hispanic agricultural employees. A fair number of customers (some employees) from the neighboring Shoshone-Bannock reservation. They speak English and their money spends as good as any other customer.

Those to whom I am referring are the ones who have not WORKED in generations and have no desire to ever do so.

Wrong, they will work for first world wages. Get rid of the illegals and wages will go up. Get it? It's called free market for US labor. We have borders. Get it? Otherwise shut up about welfare and EBT. Like I said you lost that right.

Another angle is minimum wage. Labor must produce more value than it costs. There is also a supply and demand component. Plentiful, productive labor depresses the compensation that can be demanded. Raising minimum wage just prices out parties whose labor produces less value than the government sets as the minimum price. Competing with parties who will work for much less than minimum wage under the table (cash, untaxed) is a losing game as well.

Yup. My wife was one of the first dispatchers at the San Diego Sheriff's Office to work with the LoJack program. It's a wonderful tool until your vehicle get stolen by the Chief of Police in Tijuana and parked in a garage. The LoJack pin-pointed the vehicle, but recovery was a nightmare impossibility. Too bad for the owner too. The insurance company wouldn't pay because the location of the vehicle was clear. The bank wouldn't let the owner off the hook for remaining payments.
