Some time back (a month or so) I read something that has really grabbed me. Paraphrasing, The mistake we made in western civilization was basing our entire system upon the premise that The Individual was the smallest political unit and there fore in a truly equitable society The Individual should be the highest priority. When, in reality, the smallest political unit is a man, a woman, and their child. Over the last few weeks I have been applying this like a template to each and every one of our problems to examine just what the impact would be had the highest priority been properly placed. Try it your self and see but it seems to me most if not all of our problems would never have arisen.
Suddenly it occurs to me our Founders didnt really screw up. For 150 years things worked pretty well, seems to me. The problems were are dealing with now have largely arisen in the last 100 years or so. Suddenly it occurred to me that in a country where women cant vote a man REPRESENTS that unit, a man, a woman, and their child. It was giving women the right to vote that revealed the flaw.
FFs were wise.
XIX was not.
“It was giving women the right to vote that revealed the flaw.”
I once would have argued against that sentence but now I view it as being as obvious as the Sun rising in the morning, I don’t know how we ever lost sight of the truth, women truly are different from men, better than men at many things, far worse at some things and mostly lacking in logic. The sight of AOC at the SOTU is enough to show any thinking person that no woman should be involved in government.
Ding, ding, ding. We have a winner, Johnny.
What happened shortly after women received the franchise? FDR and his socialism. Ever since, politicians have to pander to women, who want to be taken care of. Well, women and girly, soy boy men want to be taken care of. Government becomes their husband.
