Toyota, Nissan and Honda, which have all had successful large factories in the UK for decades, clearly thought otherwise.
The truth is that the Japanese Big 3 are not big players in the UK or Europe, they are considered elderly people’s cars. Kia and Hyundai have bigger market shares over there than the Japanese brands.
