Because that’s the issue. Downloading files onto a thumbdrive is done at a much faster speed than uploading them to a remote computer via the internet.
And that’s the point, the speed indicates it was a theft done by an insider with access, not a hacker.
Seth Rich or Imran Awan. Two of the most probable people who could’ve done this. Both had access, and a motive.

I heard Juliane Assange on Hannity interviewed and he clearly stated his source was not the Russian. There is no reason for him to lie. In fact, Assange Wikileaks was not even the leaker. When Rod Rosenstien annouced the Russian phony indicts these are his own words in the transcript of statement “The conspirators created fictitious online personas, including “DCLeaks” and “Guccifer 2.0,” and they used them to release information including thousands of stolen emails and other documents, beginning in June 2016. The defendants falsely claimed that DCLeaks was a group of American hackers and that Guccifer 2.0 was a lone Romanian hacker. In fact, both were created and controlled by the Russian GRU”. It should also be noted that Julian Assange of Wikileaks has repeatedly stated that it was not the Russians who gave him the emails.....and there is no reason for him to lie.
OK. I did not know that. My comment was intended to be a general one about identifying hackers. Bottom line, the Democrats know all this but they are still lying about it. What’s new.
I seem to recall a story that the timestamps on stolen files were consistent with a large file copy at USB 2.0 speed. That means an insider; and Assange has already worked with some of those.
Thats right. It was not the Russians. It was a disgruntled Bernie Sanders supporter. Likely Seth Rich or one of his colleagues.
